Obsidian Global LLC. awarded Cybersecurity Task Order with the US Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command (AETC) A6.

September 26, 2020 - Randolph AFB, TX—

Obsidian Global was awarded a 5 year task order to provide cybersecurity support services for the US Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command (AETC) A6 at Randolph Air Force Base, TX.

Air Education and Training Command was established and activated in 1942, making it the 2nd oldest major command in the Air Force.  AETC’s mission is to recruit, train, and educate Airmen to deliver 21st century Air Power.  Within AETC A6,  Obsidian is contracted to assist in vulnerability assessments and architecture reviews of the operation environments to ensure security levels required by DISA are met.  Obsidian’s cyber professionals will review technical design plans to determine the feasibility of installing, modifying or acquiring new network system equipment.
